Cette intervention chirurgicale concerne une femme de 20 ans ayant un cystadénome mucineux du corps du pancréas sans aucun signe de malignité.

En raison du jeune âge de la malade et du risque de dégénérescence, une exérèse est décidée.
Le cystadénome refoule le canal de wirsung et reste légèrement à distance de lui.

Dans le but de limiter le risque de diabète induit par l'intervention, le geste choisi est une énucléation.
